During a period of growth/development, we are looking for a strong Route Planner to join our busy and growing Transport team. We have recently acquired a new delivery hub; the role comes as a result of that change and will involve planning deliveries from three separate sites for over twenty vehicles. The deliveries will be spread between customer homes, national distribution centres and high street shops.


Key Responsibilities will Involve:

  • Routing and planning orders from our three separate delivery hubs using routing system.
  • Answering customer queries by telephone and email.
  • Occasionally booking delivery slots with customers.
  • Liaising with other departments regarding delivery windows.
  • Forecasting daily figures.
  • Reporting daily figures.
  • Ad-hoc admin duties when required.


Your Key Skills Will Include:

  • At least a year of previous experience within a similar role with a good geographical knowledge of the UK.
  • An ability to work individually as well as part of a small team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A capacity to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced environment and work to tight deadlines, demonstrating an ability to route over 200 orders per day.
  • Being PC literate.

NPI Support Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our team for an experienced administrator to join the QC Department as an NPI Support Assistant.


The Role Will Involve:

  • Liaising with our Overseas suppliers and QC Teams.
  • Communicating with foreign manufacturing facilities.
  • Product & Packaging Spec Data gathering and System input.
  • Verifying Quality of Data.
  • Reading key product sizes from manufacturer Technical Drawing files.
  • Building data and photos into Product Spec Sheet files.
  • Mirroring acceptable quality notes and tolerances into Spec Sheet files.
  • Maintaining existing Spec Sheet revisions with revision notes.
  • Ensuring up-to-date Spec Sheet files are uploaded and accessible.
  • Advising suppliers and Teams of standard procedure labelling requirements.
  • Working to a Critical Path and updating project progress.
  • Creating label artwork using label template files.
  • Occasional in-house label printing.


Your Will:

  • Have experience of working within administration (ideally within furniture and/or merchandising).
  • Be thorough, methodical, have good technical eye and attention to detail.
  • Ideally, have an understanding of the role, and experience, of a QC department.
  • Be proactive, with a good work ethic and demonstrate initiative with occasional direction from peers.
  • Display first-rate communication skills (verbal and written), and be able to adjust these accordingly.
  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of MS Office, and Excel in particular.
  • Be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Have achieved a minimum of Grade C in GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.



Warehouse Operative - Picker

An opportunity had arisen within our warehouse team for a Picker.


The Role Will Involve:

  • Preparing/completing orders for delivery according to schedule
  • Ensuring orders are correctly and safely packed
  • Operating handling equipment (ensuring safety regulations are followed)
  • Utilising a Pivot Steer/Bendi/Flexi’ Fork Lift Truck (FLT) to assist with the movement of stock
  • Operating scanners to ensure that the correct order is picked and inventory can be managed accurately
  • Keeping the warehouse and work area clean and tidy
  • Maintaining high levels of Health and Safety standards
  • Undertaking any other general warehouse duties as required


You Will:

  • Have proven experience within a similar role
  • Hold a ‘Bendi/Flexi’ FLT licence, or another FLT licence which can be converted, and demonstrate recent
  • Display good attention to detail, ensuring accuracy
  • Possess good communication skills to enable efficient team work
  • Thrive in a fast-paced working environment





Warehouse Operative - Packer
